All of us as teenagers put the weight of the world on our shoulders and expect nothing but perfection as an outcome. Whether that be in our social, academic, or professional lives, we tend to overanalyze every little detail and make ourselves unnecessarily anxious.
Being a teen is never easy. We have so much to deal with and so few people to talk to. We can feel hopeless at times and even feel like giving up. But trying new things can be undoubtedly daunting.
Summer vacation gives us the opportunity to unwind and refresh ourselves in preparation for the coming academic year. Have you given any thought to making your summer more productive so that you don’t waste your time lazing around all day and feeling rather aimless?
Think back to your childhood for a minute. How often was it something where you couldn’t argue with your parents about, they simply demanded, and you delivered or responded and that was that?
